Welcome to Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Campo de Tejada

Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Campo de Tejada was founded in June 1979 and its mission is to sow, harvest and market the agricultural products of its members. Cereals, oilseeds, legumes and chickpeas are just some of the crops which are cultivated today on lands that are ideal for cereals and the authentic milky-white chickpea.

Our Cooperative is proud to be the benchmark for the milky-white chickpea sector. We produce under the Garbanzo de Escacena Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) quality label. We also handle the largest volume of cereals of any producer in western Andalusia.

Cooperativa Campo de Tejada brings together over 2,400 members including farmers and associate members. In total, 24,728 hectares devoted to cereals and chickpeas. This area stretches from the town of Gibraleón in the province of Huelva to Coria del Río, in Seville. A total of 16 municipalities in Huelva and 14 in the province of Seville.

The formula for our success has been a very clear philosophy and objectives. The Cooperative has always been very clear about how it wanted to operate. What differentiates us from other cooperatives is that our members deliver all of their production, 100%, to us. This improves control and facilitates future operations to benefit all the members.

Our members have always been loyal to the Cooperative and, thanks to that loyalty, we have been able to build up the resources necessary to continue moving forward, offering high-quality, guaranteed produce at all times.
